On Friday 30th April, 30 students from Years 3-6 attended a special excursion to the Sydney Writers’ Festival.
The students travelled by train with their teachers to the Sydney Town Hall where they had the opportunity to listen to interesting and entertaining presentations from some popular children’s authors and illustrators, including Emily Rodda, Jess Townsend, Kirli Saunders, Andrew McDonald and Ben Wood.
The students and teachers had an enjoyable day and learnt some great things about how to be a successful writer!
